Sitting on 1.3 acres, we completely restored  and renovated this beautiful 1938 estate.  We immediately saw the appeal of this house nestled between beautiful wooded landscape on 3 lots, with a huge backyard and outdoor entertainment opportunities. The house had been in the same hands for over 75 years and had very little renovation other than an incongruous 80's addition.  There was a huge opportunity to turn this into a modern home while retaining all the beauty of the past.  The house threw up many surprised  from the construction nightmares with sewers and foundations to delightful; discoveries of wartime newspapers and love letters hidden in walls. We changed every inch of this house and now she's a beautiful family home again.
